Reliant Parking Privacy Policy

Reliant Parking Solutions, LLC (“Reliant Parking”) has implemented the following Privacy Policy. Reliant Parking is a San Diego-based company that provides online parking lot/garage permit management through a software solution. Through its website (https://www.reliantparking.com/) (the “Website”), it also permits applicants to contact the company and schedule a software demonstration. Information that we may collect from you or about you, or that you may provide when you visit the Website, any subdomains, Applications (Apps) or otherwise utilize our services (collectively referred to as the “Services”), is governed by this Privacy Policy.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to park on the property or utilize our Services. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This policy may change from time to time (see Changes to the Privacy Policy). Your continued use of our Services after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

Information Collection

Reliant Parking collects the following information through its Services, and it is shared as follows:

We collect this information:

• From property managers who manage your property and parking location.
• Automatically as you navigate through the site. We use log files to track system activity and maintain our systems. Log data includes IP addresses, browser type, referring and exit pages, platform type, date and time stamps, and number and nature of clicks through our Website. We use this information to analyze usage patterns, observe trends, administer the Website, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. Log files are not linked to personally identifiable information.
• From other third parties, for example, our business partners.

Personally identifiable information collected by Reliant Parking may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Reliant Parking or its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities.

How We Use Your Information

In addition to the uses described in the chart above, we may also use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us as follows:

• To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it or for which your property manager provides it.

• To enforce parking rules at the subject properties.
• In any other way we may describe when you provide the information.
• For any other purpose with your consent.

Sensitive Personal Information

In some circumstances, Reliant Parking may collect government identification numbers, including driver’s license numbers.  This information may be deemed “sensitive personal information” under state privacy laws.  We do not use or disclose such sensitive personal information to “infer” characteristics as defined under state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), or for any purpose other than that which is necessary to provide the Services.

Our Website uses cookies.  A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. We may place cookies or similar files through the Website to facilitate site navigation and use. Our cookies do not identify users individually.

Please note that the Reliant Parking Website is a general audience web site and our Services are not meant for children under 13 years of age. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it. For example, for purposes of permitting parking and enforcing parking rules at the subject properties.
• To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
• For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
• With your consent.
• To evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Reliant Parking’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Reliant Parking is among the assets transferred.
• If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Reliant Parking, our customers, employees, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

The Reliant Parking Website may provide hyperlinks to other web sites. Information you provide on other web sites is subject to collection by those other sites, not Reliant Parking. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of those linked sites as their privacy policies may differ from ours.

Sales/Sharing of Personal Information

We do not “sell” personal information, as that term is defined by state privacy laws. 

We do not share personal information for purposes of cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising.

Right to Know/Access: You may have the right to send us a verifiable request asking that we disclose to you the categories or specific pieces of personal information we have collected, used, disclosed and sold about you.

Right to Request Deletion: You may have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions. 

Right to Correction: You may have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal information we may hold about you.  We will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct inaccurate personal information, taking into account the nature of the personal information and the purpose for our processing.

Right to Appeal: You may have the right to request an appeal of a decision regarding your privacy rights. 

Exercising Privacy Rights: To exercise the rights described above, please submit a request to us by one of the following methods:

To the extent your personal information is collected at the direction of a property manager, we may direct you to your property manager to exercise your rights.  

Verifying Requests: We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a request related to your personal information.  To designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, please provide us with a power of attorney or other legally binding written document signed by you and identifying your agent. We may also verify the identity of your designated agent.

Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights. 

California’s Shine the Light Law: California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our website that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. At this time, we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. 

Retention Periods

Reliant Parking will generally retain information about you for so long as we have a legal or business purpose for it or a legal requirement to maintain it.   The criteria used to determine our retention periods include: 

• the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you (for example, for as long as you are a current or prospective customer) and the length of time thereafter during which we may have a legitimate need to reference your personal information to address issues that may arise; 
• whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject (for example, certain laws require us to keep records for a certain period of time before we can delete them); or
• whether retention is advisable in light of our legal position (such as in regard to applicable statutes of limitations, litigation or regulatory investigations).

If there are material changes to our Privacy Policy or if we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated when it was collected, we will post a link to our revised Privacy Policy on our home page so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
